Storyline
Blackops 2 is a direct story line after the original Blackops, with sounds a bit strange but key behind it is in the beginning Frank Woods is alive and in the beginning you will doing the missions in the 80′s. Rapidly you will be playing in 2025 were the son of lead character from original Blackops ‘Mason’. In the future you meet Menendes with you see in the original Blackops has hacked a drone facility, drones has allot of elements trough out the game with has a large role were you are participating in. In the game you will be able to hack those drones and use them against your enemies with gives you quite an advantage trough the game.

Menendes decided to hack those robots and attack large cities in America with them as a weapon of destruction. You as the main character of the game the Mason Junior you got to fight against those drones and make the cities safe. When you think it cannot get worse any more all those drones disappear and they leave to China and then the hell breaks lose.

Multiplayer
Treyarch started the multiplayer mode from scratch and checked what should kept and what should be tossed away from the old games and entirely rebuild it into a new concept. The multiplayer mode will be still in the year of 2025 with high tech weapons and various of elements from the single player.

They wanted to make it more compatible for eSports and Treyarch visited various of developers to find out to make the multiplayer mode more comprehensive. The one size fits all idea has been entirely scratched were people are able to spectate (such idea as HLTV) and players should be no longer be mixed with too high levels etc.

There will be various of play styles for CoD Fanatics, like strike packages are more focused on classes such as ‘Medic’ ‘Engineer’ ‘Soldier’ ‘Sniper’ etc.

Zombies!
Yes! The game will include Zombies into BlackOps 2!
They enhanced the zombie mode and will be also available on the multiplayer mode with plausible ranking systems to compete with other players and friends.

Sit down for this one. We have some sad news. We were feverishly working towards release and oh so close to it that it was both tasty and terrifying. Over the course of the last few days we have had a string of unfortunate events tackle on us like little anchors that ultimately have spread us too thin. We sadly have to miss our awesome release date and push the game back by a mere fourteen (14) days and will be releasing on Friday, May 4th, 2012 (05/04/2012).

We are extremely sad with this as it has been a long journey and all we want to do is punch Raptors in the face with you. So today is all about making that wound hurt a bit less by giving you gifts and love in the form of media, trailers and more.

Our second video documentary has been unleashed! “World of Hurt” goes over all of the Player Classes and Gear in the game including the three (3) Player Stores (Barracks, Armory, Garage) and the Weapons, Upgrades, Perks and Vehicles you can buy in the game. Think of this as a video apology letter for our short but sad delay:
